        Date Joined Dec 2009 Total Posts : 2 | Posted 12/30/2009 12:05 AM (GMT -7) |   | I have a york 210 with the suction port on the left, I want to run it on its left side and i know ideally you want the suction port on the top but what affects will i see? I have the galley plugged that goes to the shaft seal (i know not recommended but it helped).. and aside from that what is the real difference from left to right? I bought this compressor new from you guys a few years back and would like to continue using it. Thanks! | | Back to Top | | |

So far just have the compressor in place and simple test running seems to be good so far. I have left hand suction, mounted on the left side and re-tapped the oil fill plug to be an NPT and a fitting to connect a hose to for crankcase ventilation. If you don't vent the crank the excess pressure will cause oil to push into the cylinders, so vent the crank somehow. | | Back to Top | | |
